- Dear Vehicle Enthusiast,
- The attached form is for “The Gosport Vehicle Rally” which this year will take place on August 30st 2010, August Bank Holiday Monday, at Stokes Bay Field, Gosport, Hampshire.
- If you intend to enter would you please return the form by the 20th July so that we can organise the printing of the programmes and the printing of your Vehicle Pass which will be sent to you. Your Rally Plaque and Programme will be given to you on arrival. Would you also please send a stamped addressed envelope no smaller than 23cm x 16.5cm (9ins x 6.5ins) with the completed application form, for the return of your vehicle pass.
- Being a charity fund raising organisation there is an entry fee of £5 which covers our administrative costs, the cost of the plaque and programme, and includes the entry of all persons in the vehicle, any excess going to the Mayor of Gosport’s nominated charities. Club entries of 6 or more will be charged at the reduced rate of £4 per vehicle, all inclusive, but if you bring your form with you to register on the day the fee will be £6 per vehicle with a reduced club rate of £5. This covers additional administration on the day.
- Each year is proving to be as successful, if not more so as the preceding years with glorious weather and last year over 250 registered vehicles of all makes, shapes and sizes, including motorcycles, and we hope that you will be able to join us. There is optional judging of the entries with awards for the first and second in each class, and an optional road run through the Borough of Gosport which includes Lee-on-Solent.
It’s a great fun day out at delightful Stokes Bay, not only for vehicle enthusiasts and all their family.
